NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio — Gradall Industries, Inc., headquartered in New Philadelphia, Ohio, has received a Bronze Medal in the Excavator Category of the first annual Roads & Bridges Contractors’ Choice Awards. The award was given for the Gradall® Model XL 3300 excavator, which was selected in voting by contractors from throughout the U.S. starting in February. Contractors voted based on their personal use and preference of a wide variety of construction machines.
"Competition in every category was extremely healthy, as contractors from across the country placed their votes for the strongest performers out on the job site," said Bill Wilson, the editor in chief of the trade magazine.
Winners will be honored at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association annual convention in September at San Diego. Winners also will be featured in the magazine’s July issue.
The Model XL 3300 reflects the industry’s growing preference for wheeled excavators that can maneuver efficiently both on pavement and off-road surfaces.
